Recently, a long time friend of mine commented that he admired that I had followed my dream and that I seemed to be very busy. Well Casey, I do love making music, but I dreamed that I'd make a million dollars at it too! Anyway, so that I can "pay the rent", I have a second job which is audio production. Here's a little bit about that...
I have a mobile 24 track recording system that I rent out. Price includes setup/operator/teardown and ruff mix. I can also provide FOH for small to medium size venues in addition to recording! Speaking of FOH (Front Of House sound system), I have JBL PRX, MR, and Eon systems and a 32 Channel Mackie SR/ProVLZ series mixer. I can do a 32 channel ISO split and provide a variety of monitor mixes. Special orders don't upset us! I offer transcription/archival/restoration sevices of vinyl and cassette and reel to reel tape. I have some vintage tape machines that are in excellent working order. Rates vary, call for a quote, 859-750-4984. I do audio and video production. Need some help with content for you website? There are many examples on this website of what I do. I'd love to help you too. I have a 32 track SSL/Soundscape recording system at my home in Northern KY. I have seperate rooms for Drums, Vocals and Guitar. Rates start at $25/hour. I have a wide selection of mics and preamps. I have guitar amps and processors, 5 string bass, acoustic guitar, Hammond/Leslie, keyboards and more keyboards etc. If you want a comfortable recording enviroment and professional results at a very cost-effective rate, I think that I can help you. I have both Mac and PC systems and a variety of interfacing options. I often work with other studios and I am nearly fluent in "geek". I also speak a little Spanish and Italian... My best friend in the whole world My beloved Bailey Dog is a big ol' cuddle baby!!  I wrote a song for my best friend Bailey, I hope you like it! I've often been asked what kind of dog Bailey is. He's a rescue dog, so I may never know exactly what he is or where he came from. All I know is that I found him in Boone County's Animal Shelter and that he picked me!! Owning a dog is a responsibility. Getting the right kind of dog for your lifestyle is very important. A lot of people go out and buy a puppy. Then things get messy as the puppy grows up. And dogs like Bailey end up in the shelter (or worse). People need to know what happens if a dog ends up in the shelter and no one claims or adopts them. Please take your time and talk to folks like you'll find at Boone County Animal Shelter and get advice. Talk to obedience trainers at your local Pet Supply Stores like PetSmart. Please do a good thing and adopt - don't buy. You'll be amazed what kind of wonderful dogs end up in the pound and perhaps, like me, you'll wonder how such a beautiful creature could ever end up there.

I have done musician and engineering duties for R and B legend, Kenny Smith. I have worked as engineer for the gifted vocalist/percussionist/songwriter, Emmy nominated Patsy Meyer (Peabo Bryson, Patty Austin, Lamb and Meyer).
I have done work for The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, The Moscow Circus, Brady Seals and Little Texas, La Comedia Dinner Theatre, as well as countless others. I did archival and restoration of reel to reel tape (over 1000 reels so far) containing music beds for "As The World Turns", "Days of Our Lives", "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" and many other national shows. Some of this material was from Emmy Award Winning Composer/Producer John Henry and Worldwide Music Services in Hollywood.

I offer a transcription/archival/restoration service for reel tapes and even 4-track cassettes. Rates vary, call for a quote. If you have music stored on tape, I have some strong advice for you. DO NOT try to play it unless the tapes have been properly tested and restored. I offer this service at a very cost-effective rate. If tapes are not properly prepared, odds are the tape will be permanantly damaged and the playback device will need servicing!!! The reason is simply this -- the metal oxide in older tape is held to the mylar tape by a "binder" (glue). This binder, with age and humidity, gets sticky. When the tape moves across the parts of the playback device, the oxide and binder come off the tape. The metal oxide is your music! I have thousands of hours of restoration experience of very valuable audio libraries.
